By joining or partnering with the Carolinas LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce ("The Chamber"), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Commitment to Inclusion & Equity
All members and partners must support the mission and values of the Chamber, including promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within their business practices and community engagement. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
2. Code of Conduct
Members and partners are expected to conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and inclusive manner at all Chamber events, online interactions, and within the business community. Harassment or disruptive behavior may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of membership or partnership.
3. Use of Chamber Branding
The Chamber’s name, logo, or likeness may not be used in any way that implies endorsement without prior written permission. Approved members and partners may use designated logos to promote their affiliation.
4. Event Participation
Participation in Chamber events is encouraged. Some events may be exclusive to members or require additional registration fees. Members and partners agree to abide by all event policies and procedures.
5. Payment Terms
Membership and partnership dues must be paid in full upon joining and are renewable annually unless otherwise stated. Failure to pay dues within 30 days of the due date may result in suspension or cancellation of benefits.
6. Non-Refundable Fees
All membership and partnership fees and event sponsorships are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in writing by the Chamber. Members who have set-up auto renewal will receive a notification thirty days prior to the processing of the auto-renewal. Auto-renewals are non-refundable.
7. Public Representation
Members and partners agree not to make public statements on behalf of the Chamber without prior written consent from Chamber leadership.
8. Policy Advocacy
The Chamber actively participates in advocacy and policy initiatives that support the LGBT+ business and professional community. By joining, you acknowledge and support this work, even if not directly involved in advocacy efforts.
9. Confidentiality & Privacy
Member and partner information is maintained in accordance with our privacy policy. The Chamber does not sell or share your personal information without consent, except as required by law or for programmatic reporting to funding partners.
10. Termination or Revocation
The Chamber reserves the right to revoke or terminate membership or partnership at any time for breach of these terms or conduct deemed harmful to the mission, values, or reputation of the organization.
By submitting your membership or partnership application, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the above terms and conditions.
